Duties and responsibilities

1. To control, supervise, regulate, and recommend measures, guidelines, and methods for the conservation and development of public water resources.

2. Monitoring, controlling, supervising, maintaining, surveying, defining boundaries of public water resources, and the use and conservation of natural water sources.

3. Support and promote participation, develop knowledge, disseminate information, and strengthen management networks for the restoration and management of water resources.

4. Establish, register, and compile a database of water users and a water resource management network.

5. Collaborate with or support the work of other relevant or assigned departments.
